Daniel Radcliffe Becomes Harry Potter One More Time

Harry Potter just can't move on in this SNL sketch

What could have been a brilliant sketch, turned in to just, "M'eh," on Saturday Night Live.  They decided to take a look at Harry Potter's life in the year 2020.  He's now the wizard version of a high school jock who fondly remembers the time he won the homecoming game.

Daniel put all of his energy in to the sketch, but it still seemed to lack the comedy punch it deserved.

I'll be honest, I kinda hoped that Rupert Grint and Emma Watson were going to make a cameo in the sketch.  (*nerd sigh*)  The highlights in this for me were Bill Hader's Alan Rickman impression, and the reactions of the extra's when giving Daniel a high five.    

Overall, Daniel's theater experience really made him comfortable with live television.  His best bit of the night was playing the adopted dog of Casey Anthony during 'Weekend Update'.  Once I saw that, it made me think that Daniel needs to get a comedy role sometime soon because his timing was fantastic.
